The 3rd Annual Symposium for the Prevention of School Violence will be held at the Denver Campus of Johnson & Wales University. The Symposium will bring law enforcement, parents, educators and school administrators together in a central location. The Symposium will be kicked off with an address from Foundation President Joseph Gargan, Johnson & Wales University Denver Campus President Bette Matkowski, and Denver City Councilwoman Marcia Johnson.
Symposium presenters includ renowned behavioral psychologist John Nicoletti, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office; Larry Borland, Pat Hobby, Sam Adair, Michael Rappe, Barbara Lamanna, The American Red Cross, and John Belcastro.
